 Admittance to Poinciana begins with a confidential and comprehensive screening and evaluation, which includes a base-line medical examination and patient history to determine the state of the patient's health.
Initial tests will include blood pressure, urinalysis, EKG, X-ray, blood analysis as well as any indicated and appropriate diagnostic test. An individualized treatment plan, which includes nutritional evaluation, diet and medication, will be formulated according to the patient's health needs and type of substance dependency.
The patient's length of stay is based on the level of his or her addiction, as determined by the individual and physician.
